I again have access to the site supplying me with retail gasoline prices for Michigan, so the figures on The Spike Line page for the Great Lakes state are now correct as of July 31. We enjoy predicting and trying to further our knowledge in the gasoline and oil industry. Our ultimate goal is to "win" the game of price hikes and to accurately predict hikes.

The name of the site is based off an essay Ed wrote for the Grand Rapids Press titled "The Gas Game". The current website was established later by Patrick DeHaan after he and Ed predicted gas price hikes on GasBuddy's website GrandRapidsGasPrices.com, as well as Ed’s personal web page.

not looking good to avoid a back to back spike in Ohio – after the 2.399 last week most places back to 2.299 again..within the 10c margin. If oil and spot continue up next few days, looks like the 2.499 mark will be tested..if not a little higher – so far round here that hasnt been tested this year so far
