Comment on the September 27 prediction: No hike last week — CORRECT.
Monday, October 5, 2020, 10AM: Typically, I’ve been writing posts on Sunday, but I wanted to wait to see how the market reacted to the White House COVID news this morning. We have oil up 5% this morning, and wholesale gas prices (tracking via the UGA fund) is following suit. Despite retail prices that are still a bit inflated, we probably have a set up for a price re-set soon. I’d find gas under $2 (e.g. Jenison) and fill up, just to be safe.
$1.879 this morning in sw Ohio.
Price hike to $2.19 in Indy yesterday evening.
Marathon/admirals Stations trying a $2.29 spike today in Mi most Speedways haven’t gone along with it yet…
$1.759, BEFORE discounts, in Cincinnati this morning.
No Ohio spike, yet. Lot’s of $1.7×9’s around.
Can’t believe I still get emails that these links are expiring. Back then I used a Yahoo tool to get the information from the Speedway website into a spreadsheet, and the BatchGeo website would take that information and put it in a map. I can’t even remember the Yahoo tool’s name, its been gone so long, and Speedway changed their website to where I couldn’t get the information from it anyway. Good times.

The Spike price was $4.15. Glad we don’t have those prices anymore.
