Don’t Mess With Texas? But Texas Is Messing With Us

Comment on the February 14 prediction: Prices rose last Tuesday, to $2.65, so the prediction was essentially CORRECT, although I have been a nickle short on my predictions lately.

Sunday, February 21, 2021, 8AM: Oil prices have been stable the past week, but wholesale gas prices continue to climb, primarily due to the electricity and water problems in Texas. Since those issue are starting to resolve themselves, we might avoid a hike this week. If we get a hike, I can see Big Red and friends reaching for $2.69, but my prediction crystal ball is a bit foggy today. -EA
