I hope you enjoyed gas under $3, as we are back to $3.09 this afternoon, and this time it looks like that price is going to stick. Either tensions about North Korea, or just good old demand, have pushed oil prices to all-time highs today, and wholesale prices followed. That’s why we got the price hike today, and maybe more coming shortly. Assuming today’s closing prices on NYMEX hold or go up a bit, I predict $3.19 by the end of the day on Friday. That prediction was 100% WRONG, as prices started dropping on Friday, below $3 in many places.
