Predictions
Let me just say how surprised I am that Speedway raised prices today. I think everyone should be able to see how out-of-line this price hike was as it stunned many. Wholesale gasoline prices closed down a good amount yesterday, so why did Speedway raise prices? Good question. And while we’re on the topic, Speedway [...]

Predictions
Comment on the March 21 prediction: Prices rose to $2.09 on the 24th, so the prediction was CORRECT. We’ve seen slow drops since then. Thursday, April 2, 2009, 2:45 PM: NYMEX is up 9 cents today, making me nervous about a price hike on Friday, back to $2.09 or maybe even higher. Yes, let’s make [...]

Predictions
As Speedway raised prices to $1.999 this morning, oil was busy having a rally of it’s own. Gasoline coming out of Chicago (which is most gasoline supplied to West Michigan), is currently DISCOUNTED nearly 30-cents from what it’s being traded [...]

Commentary
Comment on the February 25 prediction: It was easy to parrot the other predictions last week, but the prediction was CORRECT and that hike did not go over $2. The next day, though, we went to $1.99, and then yesterday it was $2.05. As Speedway posted prices over $2 before under $1, my December 11, [...]
