Speedway hikes to $3.24, expect a quick withdraw back to $3.15-$3.19

I’ve just refreshed the latest Speedway pricing at local stations and see they absolutely outdid themselves (again!) to 3.24. Not only was this overkill, but we should see prices fall a little back to the realm of reality ($3.15-$3.24). Expect local prices to stay high as the Midwest takes a huge hit in the next [...]

Hike to $3.19 in place! If you can’t get gas under $3 still, wait!

If you might be stuck paying more for gasoline than $3, I would wait a few days. We should see prices fall to $3.09 pretty quick! Powered by ScribeFire.

No hike looking more likely

Thursday morning, 9:15am… NYMEX is looking steady and my benchmark station in Indiana is down a few more cents overnight. Some have been calling for a hike to $3.19, but its just not looking very likely. I think we’re likely to see prices fall to around $2.95 before any risk of a hike… hopefully!

Don’t get all hot and heavy here- [...]

DOE Report and Quick Hike to 2.35

Looks like Greedway wasn’t happy with profit so they re-hiked to 2.35 this morning, so go get gas on your break or when you’re out this morning. I’ll tell you that prices haven’t really gone up much this week, just staying around the same area at 1.58, so I really didn’t think a hike was [...]

$2.28/gal in Ohio, whats the deal, Speedway?!

Can you believe that gas is “only” 2.28 in Findlay, Ohio? Thats the lowest price in the United States at this time, and its only a few hundred miles away. Prices on the wholesale market fell quite a bit the past few days, but you don’t see local stations following suit… we’re still “stuck” at [...]
