I’m jumping ship to GasBuddy, catch me if you can!

TheGasGame.com was started officially back in 2006, but has roots going back many more years. Ed and I started posting together here at TheGasGame after we found out about each other through GrandRapidsGasPrices.com, a GasBuddy.com site that tracks gas prices. Ed and I both had a hobby and fascination with gas prices and were posting [...]

Fill it up (again)!

There’s definitely a price hike coming, tomorrow or Wednesday, to something about $2.39.

A quick look at closing prices on the market from late last week and yesterday:Thursday close $1.42Friday close $1.47Monday close $1.54 As you can see, wholesale [...]

They went to $2.15 after all

Comment on the April 24 posting:  A week ago, I worried about a hike to $2.15.  We got it this week in two chunks — first to $2.05 on Tuesday, and then to $2.15 today.  Wish I had filled up this morning. Friday, May 1, 2009, 3:30PM:  I was surprised to check out gas prices [...]
