Ohio’s margins getting thin

A bit of late notice, but Ohio’s Spike Line numbers are getting tight again. Wouldn’t surprise me if we saw some adjustments soon there, possibly as early as today. Michigan has a bit more cushion, but looks possible early next week unless we get some relief in spot price. – TS

  1. Cincinnati is still about 82 cents above spot. It doesn’t matter though. Thanks to GREEDway, Ohio will still spike and SW Ohio will get the 10-15 cent spike surcharge.

  2. I passed by a Shell station in West Chester on my way to Ikea showing $2.59. Most other locations were 20 to 30 cents lower. I’m sure ChrisDG74 is stoked about this lol.

We’re about 75 cents above spot with yesterday’s spike and that’s $2.25 gas. $2.59 is right in line with the metro Cincy area insane margins

  3. LOL.
That Shell is ALWAYS ridiculously overpriced. You’re referring to the one at Union Center and Mulhauser, right?

  4. I’m not real familiar with the area other than an occasional visit to Ikea, but that’s probably the one
