Howdy, fans of TheGasGame! As you may have noticed, the site has some new splash, hopefully a bit easier to read, and flows smoothly. If you notice anything broken, please feel free to comment here and let us know. We’ll also take feedback of the site, though I like how the site looks quite a bit better with this “theme”.

The name of the site is based off an essay Ed wrote for the Grand Rapids Press titled "The Gas Game". The current website was established later by Patrick DeHaan after he and Ed predicted gas price hikes on GasBuddy's website GrandRapidsGasPrices.com, as well as Ed’s personal web page.
Note: To be precise, add 9/10 of a cent to all prices described on this web page.

I like the boxes, it helps the readability and I like the blue hue so it looks great.
I’m here for the conversation on your posts regarding potential spikes etc. How do I get to those directly if not from the Home page? I was always using the Home button before but it’s gone and replaced with the About button and that doesn’t get me where I want to go. Any chance of getting The Gas Game banner to link to thegasgame.com too? I KNOW the link is way up there in the upper left however my mouse hardly in the corners so it seems so far away to run up there and click. Thanks for the consideration!
Two thumbs up. I really like it.
jt4703- added a “home” button. How’s that?
Yes! Thank you!! 🙂 🙂
The link to the Spike Line is no longer under Features. Nothing is under Features. Is it possible to make the Spike Line it’s own button?

Bill, sorry. Played around should be OK now!
I was just checking out the “Today in Oil” page. I really like the layout and handy presentation of daily data. Do you have any plans to incorporate the ethanol spot price there? It seems to me like when something is amiss with a prediction, it is related to either ethanol prices or the rack price adjustment.
Works/looks much better on mobile. Nice!
I find the new page layout cluttered to the point of unreadability with outline boxes everywhere making the whole thing almost painful to look at. With the color scheme, it is very industrial looking. But everyone else seems to like it, so I guess it’s just time to move on. Bookmark removed.
Oredigger — that’s a good idea, but no plans to add that in right now. I’ll add it to the “future work” list. — Ed
Looks good!
