Marcus Hook refinery union ratifies contract (The News Journal)

United Steelworkers union members at Sunoco Inc.’s Marcus Hook refinery in Pennsylvania ratified a three-year contract, which includes wages and benefits from the national oil bargaining pattern, Lynne Baker, a union spokeswoman, said in an e-mail.

Mexico’s Penoles Declares Force Majeure On Refinery Strike (Nasdaq)

MEXICO CITY -(Dow Jones)- Mexican mining and metals concern Industrias Penoles SAB (PE&OLES.MX) said Friday it has declared force majeure on contractual commitments as a strike at its silver and lead refinery continues into its second month.
