Unbelievable turn of events for diesel and heating oil today.
While I noticed yesterday that heating oil prices were up nearly double they should be, I read that diesel is what is currently driving refiners to refine more fuels.
Right now, the profit for refining oil into heating oil/diesel is way more than the profit for gasoline. [...]

8:30am: Get gas ASAP as I definitely expect a hike today to $3.85-$3.89 as wholesale prices have continued their rise yesterday.
Expect to see the hike by 10:30!
10:30am: $3.89 is the price that has now been set by Speedway. Hope you filled up already!Patrick

That’s right, I just got a Meijer text message stating that their prices are going to increase after 1:30, so I’m not quite sure what is going to happen with Speedway. With the weakness in the dollar today, oil (and gasoline, of course) have both taken large jumps.
Wholesale gasoline is up to where it was last week and I expect that to continue.
I’d definitely stay full from tonight till the next few days. We could see $3.75-$3.85 any day as wholesale prices continue to increase.
