Record refining margins: highest since 1989!!!

The profit margin, or “crack,” for turning crude oil into fuels has more than tripled this year. It rose 0.3 percent to $29.49 today, the highest since at least 1989, based on closing futures prices in New York.

The BP refinery in Whiting, Indiana is losing $6 million per DAY!
