Prediction: No price hike through Sunday

I have been quite surprised with the way NYMEX prices have been dropping since August 2, particularly the ethanol-based RB “Blendstock”. Monday’s hysteria seems quaint today. Also, the DOE report has us with lower gasoline stocks, but NYMEX prices have just strugged. Is demand for gasoline dropping? I don’t know, but right now I’ve got [...]

Hear a rumor of gas over $3.19? FALSE! Under $3 soon!

Just an update from yesterday about gas prices.
Some people probably decided to start a rumor that gas was going to be over $3.50 today (I’ve heard people think it was 3.50, 3.75, 4.15, ETC!) these are RUMORS and are ALL FALSE. Whoelsale gasoline prices have actually fallen on the market today… and I’ll be looking [...]

Status after BP announcement. No hike threat YET.

With BP’s announcement today, I’m sure you’re all curious or

Wholesale prices to rise

The good news is that Citgo is open again on Lake Michigan Drive, and competition has returned to Standale, with prices as low as $2.92 this morning. The bad news is that while prices have fallen below $3 a gallon pretty much everywhere in the area, wholesale prices jumped six cents yesterday. That [...]

Tuesday, 8/1 Status of GR Gas Prices

Hello, and Happy Tuesday morning everyone!

Well, we’re kind of reaching the low point of prices for the [...]
