As I write this at noon, we’re down to $2.05 in town and the 20-cent margin price is $2.17, but tack on another cent or two as we need to do every May. Because the retailers have some expensive gas in their tanks and they’ll not want to take a loss on it, I predict a price hike tomorrow to around $2.19. This prediction isn’t as certain as some I’ve had in the past, though. No price hike on Thursday = WRONG.
